The Scholarship Committee
The Friends of the Sisters Library Scholarship is $2000, awarded to a graduating Sisters High School senior every year. $1000 of the award is issued the first year of the winner’s attendance at college, and the remaining $1000 is issued the second year of the winner’s attendance. The scholarship may be used towards tuition, and/or books and supplies. The student applying for the scholarship must have taken rigorous high school classes, and maintained a 2.5 GPA or better. In addition, the student must demonstrate commitment and involvement in the community through school, volunteer work and in the work force.
The Scholarship committee is responsible for reviewing all applications submitted and choosing the student that best fits the criteria set forth by the Friends of the Sisters Library and the Graduating Resources Organization (GRO) of Sisters.
