The Sisters Library is part of and funded by the Deschutes Public Library (DPL) system. The Friends of Sisters Library (FOSL) was formed as a non-profit community organization dedicated to support both the Deschutes Public Library system and the Sisters Library. FOSL raises funds to benefit the library, provides local art displays on a monthly basis in the library and awards a yearly scholarship for a graduating Sisters High School student. FOSL also operates the Book Corner, a small bookstore selling used books, located at the southwest corner of the Sisters Library.
